Fair Related FAQ

The fair is operated annually in November.

No, it does not! We encourage all Juniors, Seniors,Transfer students and parents to attend our fairs.
Use HBCU SEARCH to see what HBCUs will offer onsite admissions at the fair. Most of the 40+ HBCU admissions professionals in attendance from the campuses will offer onsite admissions and application fee waivers.
Typically, alumni representatives are not able to do so. Most alumni are able to give out and collect applications and answer questions about enrollment requirements and campus life.

Each of the locations vary time schedules of workshops and motivational speakers depending on the number and types of workshops that will be provided. Admissions representatives will be available during the entire time period as indicated on the schedules.
Use HBCU SEARCH and check the SHOW FAIR PARTICIPANTS ONLY box to see all the colleges that will be at a fair during Malcolm Bernard HBCU College Fair Week. A Fair Participant flag is displayed for HBCUs that are coming. When you click on a college their School Info and the Fair Events that they are participating in will be displayed on their individual HBCU page. College information is updated as representatives register to participate, and post updates until the events occur.
